At CASSY, transparency and respect for craftsmanship are at the heart of our approach. Each pair of shoes is the result of meticulous craftsmanship, made with carefully selected materials. Here's a breakdown of its journey:

Origin of materials

· Leather: Bovine leather from certified tanneries in Brazil, respecting local environmental standards.
· Outsole: Tunit, a technical rubber-based material known for its wear resistance, is used as the base. It is then covered with a mixture containing leather fibers, providing a premium look, better grip and a more natural feel.
· Lining: Lightweight and durable synthetic material, chosen for its ease of maintenance and comfort.
· Insole: Leather

Handcrafted

· Each pair is handmade in our workshop located in Brazil.
· The process includes: leather cutting, sewing, assembly, gluing, finishing and quality control.
· Estimated manufacturing time: between 3 and 4 hours per pair, depending on the complexity of the model.

Transport & Logistics

· After manufacturing, the shoes are transported by truck then by plane from our workshop in Brazil to our warehouse in France
· Transport is grouped, which helps limit the carbon footprint linked to logistics.
· Orders are prepared and shipped from our logistics warehouse in France.

Ethical and quality commitments

· Direct and lasting collaboration with human-sized workshops.
· Materials chosen without chrome or respecting the chrome residue thresholds, and without processes harmful to health or the environment.
· Quality control carried out at each stage of production.

Recyclability and maintenance

Leather is a natural, strong and durable material that deserves proper care to preserve the beauty and longevity of your shoes.
Due to the combination of different materials used in this model, it is not possible to easily separate them for traditional recycling.
However, when your shoes have had their day, consider giving them a second life: you can donate them to an association or drop them off at a specialist collection point.
